kimberly. asked: I'm a 13y.o girl and ever since I wore a beanie for our school camp at Tasmania (australia), I've been getting pimples. Camp was in June; I think I might have been alergic to the material of the beanie, but the pimples haven't stopped coming. Before Tasmania, I had clear skin. WHAT CAN I DO NOW? please help.

I don’t mean to endorse a product.. but..” Proactive” really does work. Other than that, eat healthy foods, drink plenty of water, use oil-free makeup, and find a good face wash.
If you’re only getting the pimples around the spots where the beanie was on your head, I would say yes, you may have been allergic – see a dermatologist. If not, it might have just been hormonal changes that are now causing the breakouts. Make sure you get plenty of water, take a daily multi-vitamin and wash your face with a gentle cleanser twice a day (one that has salicylic acid and antibacterial agents in it). Wipe after w/ a mild astringent (as traces of the cleanser will still be present, even after you rinse) and use a good moisturizer with sunscreen. You should be ok. =)
This can be reduced by using LIFEBOUY MITTY Soap.It is very effective.Try to avoid fat containig meals.
Since you are just 13 yr old, I suggest do not go for any cosmetic over the counter creams.Wash your face twice a day with a soap-free face wash, Eat healthy food, drink plenty of water, exercise should help. If you are uncomfortable, see a dermatologist for the correct diagnostics.
Hi daneen, if someone knew the answer to that they would be a millionaire. No one has quite been able to conquer pimples yet.An allergic reaction is more like a rash, not pimples, I wish i could say pimples were a part of growing up but many don’t have them,or in my case i am 45 and still have pimples, but because of my oily skin i don’t have the wrinkles many friends my age do so I’m taking the good with the bad lol…
1.wash your face often, 8-10times a day with water only.
2. do not squeeze them, they will grow more.
3. use a mild face wash.
The bacteria that causes acne is in the air. When you wear your beanie, you probably sweat and the bacteria sticks to your skin and with the added pressure of the beanie can trap the bacteria into your pores, causing infection.
1. WATER!!!
2. WATER!!!
3. Plenty of sleep. Teens tend to stay up late and not get enough sleep, when they need it the most.
4. Wash your face constantly. People usually touch their face once a minute.
5. dermatologists can prescribe medication that usually dries the crap out of your face so stay hydrated
hey try appling face pack of lemon n turmeric..its amazing..i ve personally used it n now my skin is much kooler to look at..also drink lottsa water early in morning…
Well that could be a coincidence only. Which area of your face are the pimples? Forehead, or mostly chin are?
It does tell you what the problem could be. Chin area could indicate stomach bacteria. Try to get chinese herbs (pill form) that are a natural antibiotic. Wash skin with Aloe skin care products.
