Every city and town has backpacker hotels, or YHA hostels.
There are even Backpacker car rental firms (that doesn’t quite make sense does it).
Just don’t hitch hike. Especially in white 4wds with anyone named Bill (Ivan).
well im from australia and just did a drive from victoria (east south of australia) to Queensland ( north east or australia) took 3 days by the way
anyway there was SO many backpackers around queensland and places like that
it looks like so much fun
they all had vans and they would paint whatever the wanted on it, it looked so cool they had like sayings and band names and stuff on it.
and i saw heeps of shops around called backpackers something orather….
but yeah they were there to help out backpackers.
and a lot of people come here for backpacking so it must be good
