I am looking for a spot to go camping over the Easter Break with a couple of friends. Ideally we would like there to be a toilet block, but are willing to forgo all luxuries if someone knows of a spot where we can actually camp right on the beach?

We are hoping to go South Coast of NSW, but would also be willing to go North Coast. Not looking to drive any further than about three hours either way of Sydney.

Any ideas greatly appreciated!

also does anyone know if it is illegal to just rock up at a beach and camp? If we were to drive to coast and find a secluded beach - would we be able to set up camp there for a couple days?
